Seems like the master branch has the old code and the child branches matching with the tags / FRR versions are being created.

We have a copy of FRR code for SONIC at https://github.com/sonic-net/sonic-frr which is dated back to May 2019 (7.0 FRR version)

But the tags at https://github.com/sonic-net/sonic-frr/tags indicate 8.2.2 FRR version. 

Can someone please help clarify if the old copy of FRR code above in SONIC is no longer being used and 8.2.2 is the latest FRR version integrated with SONIC ? 

If FRR releases from https://github.com/FRRouting/frr/releases are being used for SONIC, it will help to delete the sonic-frr copy of the code to avoid confusion.
