Donald, I am new to this and I truly appreciate your help. I did follow those instructions and I got stuck where I was installing "Downloading the source, Configure and compile it" instruction. I have copied and pasted the error I was getting. I am installing FRR and libyang in /etc/ folder following the provided instruction on github but I am curious if it matter where I should be installing FRR and libyang at. helpers/python/frrtest.py:200: TestRefMismatch ----------------------------------------------------------- Captured stderr call ----------------------------------------------------------- 2019/03/01 18:22:41 warnings: NONE: libyang: Failed to open libyang user types plugins directory "/usr/lib/frr/frr/libyang_plugins" (Not a directory). 2019/03/01 18:22:41 errors: NONE: [EC 100663342] yang_init: failed to load frr_user_types.so ----------------------------------------------- generated xml file: /etc/frr/tests/tests.xml ----------------------------------------------- ============================================ 191 failed, 212 passed, 2 skipped in 17.67 seconds ============================================ make: *** [tests/tests.xml] Error 1 Sincerely, *Muhammed Ibrahim * *muhe31@gmail.com* <muhe31@gmail.com> On Tue, Mar 5, 2019 at 8:35 AM Donald Sharp <sharpd@cumulusnetworks.com> wrote:

As we discussed on slack - make check will fail until make install is completed at least once. This is a known bug.
