All - We have added Experimental support of OSPF SR (draft-ietf-ospf-segment-routing-extensions-24). I would like to thanks Olivier for his hard work in getting this work done and Renato taking the time to fully review and test this feature. This feature is available on the master branch. For Instructions on how to use this new feature, please consult doc/OSPF-SR.rst. Thanks! donald
Hi Donald, Thanks for the announcement. May I send an official e-mail to IETF SPRING WG to also announce this or do you prefer waiting the official 4.0 release ? Regards Olivier Le 06/02/2018 à 18:33, Donald Sharp a écrit :

Hi Olivier, Great achievement, congrats! Have you also implemented MSD, if yes, what parts? Thanks, Jeff

Hi Jeff I have implemented the node MSD part. You could set the Node MSD and then it is flooded to neighbour. But, for the moment, I don't check the value when setting a static route with a label stack. This need extra communication between OSPF and ZEBRA. Another option, will be to just advertise the Node MSD with the Linux Kernel limitation i.e. 32 label max. Just let me know. Don't sure I implement the Link MSD as for Linux Kernel, the MSD is global i.e. the same value apply to link and node as packet are processes by the Linux Kernel not interface. Hi Olivier, Thanks! I’m in process of turning MSD into a framework that could be used to advertise various HW capabilities, thru different MSD types. MSD of type 0 is indeed to advertise max stack, and this is what you have implemented. Would be great to continue adding this functionality as it becomes available. Wrt Link MSD - I understand, it is quite irrelevant on x86 platform or a single chip switch, so perhaps, something for the future. BGP-LS MSD extensions are very much needed, what are the plans for BGP-LS in general? Thanks, Jeff
