I don't have access to my provider's BGP configuration I'm afraid. However I am pasting my end of the setup below.
It might be relevant to note that the BGP instance is configure inside a view, as I do not need anything to be installed in the main routing table.
I am using tcpdump to listen on the network interface for any traffic, and FRR doesn't appear to be initiating any connections to my upstream.
My BGP config:
