I am testing that my installation of FRR is working ok, so I followed the installation instructions for Ubuntu 16.04 (I’m using Ubuntu 16.10), and I configured zebra and rip simply by copying and renaming the /usr/share/doc/frr/examples/zebra.conf.sample and /usr/share/doc/frr/examples/ripd.conf.sample files.

 

When I start FRR, it crashes once a minute:
