We would like to introduce a new library dependency. My understanding is that this library is not easily available for 6.X releases of RHEL at this point in time. As such we are trying to understand what we would like to do. We do not think it is unreasonable for people to be still using old releases. Typically in the past, as suggested earlier in the email thread, we say release Y(and future versions) of FRR is not supported on older versions of release X. I am not necessarily saying what we will do here though as that this is still early in the figure this out process.
