Can we get output of: 'show ip mroute count' when traffic is flowing? I cat /proc/net/ip_mr_vif cat /proc/net/ip_mr_cache What is your pim configuration as well? Can you show us that? donald On Fri, May 12, 2017 at 10:15 AM, Vladimir V Romadin <wowks@ya.ru> wrote:
Hi all!
I'm trying to build a test setup with Ubuntu 16.04 x86_64 + Frr/Pimd and it doesn't work for me. Just tell me, if this is a wrong place for asking for help.
Have to Intel NICs: enp5s1f0 and enp5s1f1. Test "client" (mac book + VLC) is connected to enp5s1f1.
Tcpdump shows UDP packets on enp5s1f0: IP (…ttl 59…) 172.16.172.6.37266 > 239.255.10.161.5500: UDP, length 1316
I can see mroute in OS: # ip mroute (0.0.0.0, 239.255.10.161) Iif: enp5s1f0 Oifs: enp5s1f0 enp5s1f1
I can see sysctl’s: net.ipv4.conf.all.forwarding = 1 net.ipv4.conf.all.mc_forwarding = 1
Traffic is not forwarded to enp5s1f1 (to client).
