Hi, Please advise if there is any Yocto recipe for FRRouting? If not, how to go about creating one for FRR? Yocto Recipe for FRR will hugely simplify integrating FRR in Yocto based embedded linux distributions. So please advise if there are any plans to develop this recipe? Thanks Donald. Is there a reason why FRRouting is not already a part of some Yocto layer (such as meta-networking from OpenEmbedded)? Supporting FRRouting in Yocto will open a whole new domain for its use in embedded systems. From web, I can see many have struggled to add FRR in Yocto and no clarity if there was any success or not. From my perspective it's just a matter of someone doing the work and either capturing their build artifacts or writing down their steps. FRR is complicated to build, it has a myriad of options and setup procedures that are not necessarily easy. I clearly remember struggling with this at first.
Work done to get FRR working on other platforms is clearly welcomed. I'm not sure how I can personally help out here other than I'll try to answer questions or point you at the people whom I think can answer your questions. donald On Wed, Jan 16, 2019 at 11:07 PM Amol Lad <Amol.Lad@4rf.com> wrote:

Hi Amol, sorry to keep you waiting. Attached is the current yocto recipe for frr. We currently use the 5.0.1 version and as a head up the git version is likely broken and likely will be removed when we push the layer to github. Feedback is welcome :) cheers Tobi On Wed, 2019-01-30 at 08:17 +0000, Amol Lad wrote:
