Hi, I am new to FRR and I would like to know what I need to install a router with FRR (only BGP) that supports 2M routes and + 10Gbps of data traffic. What do you recommend to use? does it work smoothly compared to a traditional router? Thanks for the help Atte Richard Milla T.
Richard - FRR can easily handle 2 million routes, especially if you spec a setup to do software forwarding of packets. Modern processors with good nics can easily handle 10gps of data traffic as well. I would recommend you look into xbp or dpdk for data forwarding as well. donald On Mon, Aug 31, 2020 at 8:09 AM Richard Milla <richard@airpoint.cl> wrote:
