Hi all, I'm sure this must have been asked before, but is it possible to set "scope link" on an IP address in FRR? I use private link addresses heavily because of the exhaustion of v4, and therefore everything is using RFC1918 internally. While I'm deploying v6 and we don't have issues there, I don't want RFC1918 addresses to show up (or, indeed, fail to show up) for v4 traceroutes. All of my routers have loopback addresses, and I'd like Linux to use them in preference to the RFC1918s on the interface. The normal way of me doing this is to set "scope link" on all of them. Alas, such an option doesn't seem to exist in FRR. Am I missing something? Chris - FRR currently sets RT_SCOPE_UNIVERSE to the routes it installs. It would not be too hard to add the ability to change this, someone would just need to write it up. donald On Fri, Mar 29, 2019 at 4:22 PM Chris Malton (Delta V) <chris@deltav-tech.co.uk> wrote:

Thanks Donald, Was trying to get all my config into FRR ahead of a datacenter move - looks like we'll have to carry on with /e/n/i for now. Regards, Chris On 29/03/2019 20:32, Donald Sharp wrote:
