HI I use FRRouting (version 7.0) and I have a small problem, it refuses to change the hostname for me. it forces the use of the full name of the machine. I put: C220-1.PAR4 and systematically it gives me c220-1.par4.mydomain.com including in the ISIS announcements It's normal ? also currently I access via SSH to the server then to FRR via vtyshy, is it possible to directly access FRRouting via telnet or SSH without going through the server access phase? thank you in advance for your help

The hostname functionality does not work properly at this point in time. There are a couple of issues surrounding this that no-one has picked up and solved yet. I don't have a timeline for when it will be fixed. As for the vtysh as a shell? You can do it, just replace the user you login's default shell with vtysh. I would not recommend this approach. The shell is not meant to be a replacement and it should not be trusted as a proper shell. donald On Tue, Dec 15, 2020 at 5:32 AM Olivier CALVANO <o.calvano@gmail.com> wrote:
