Not at this time.
But I’m including a “version” command which gives detailed
information
on the specific release

Here is how it looks like right now:
(all frr snap commands are prefixed with the snap name,
so vtysh is frr.vtysh - this is part of the snap system)

“frr.vtysh” returns:

	dut:~# frr.vtysh

Hello, this is FRRouting (version 3.0-dev-20170428).
Copyright 1996-2005 Kunihiro Ishiguro, et al.

	dut#

and there is a frr.version command which just does a cat over
a version file (which I create at build time). The frr.version
basically returns the output of “zebra —version”, followed
by some CI build information:
(The CI information is only done since version 3.0 - frr 2.0
only returned the “zebra —version”)

	dut:~# frr.version
	zebra version 3.0-dev-20170428
Copyright 1996-2005 Kunihiro Ishiguro, et al.
	configured with:
		 '--prefix=' '--enable-vtysh' '--enable-isisd' '--enable-watchfrr'

Happy to add some tag to the git if the community wishes - but please
keep in mind that I plan to update on a regular interval (i.e. weekly
for 3.0 and probably soon with every git change for development
versions)
