[dev] Regarding representation as FRR maintainer

Thanks for you note. To clarify, the election discussed recently on FRR weekly calls and that I will be running in a couple of weeks during October is for the TSC not for Maintainers.

Your request to nominate folks to become Maintainers is ‘ad hoc’ and you can do that by sending out a message just like you have done, any time of the year. Obviously other devs and maintainers will need to recognize the work of the individuals. Individual Approvals to maintainer status are on a ‘straw poll’ basis.
