Hi, Please advise if there is any Yocto recipe for FRRouting? If not, how to go about creating one for FRR? Yocto Recipe for FRR will hugely simplify integrating FRR in Yocto based embedded linux distributions. So please advise if there are any plans to develop this recipe? nhrpd event manager

I have successfully gotten frr,nhrpd,strongswan,charon all running on another system for a dmvpn application. I am currently trying to do another setup, but without vpn/ipsec, just nhrp/gre. Its not working out well, debug logs show Netlink: Received msg_type 28 which if I recall correctly suggests that the neighbor entry isnt being installed correctly, trying it as root worked even less. So while poking around, I see there is an entire event manager unix sock structure. Perhaps I can parse that and do it myself? However, this is as far as I got. I am interacting with it via shell script. ISIS inter-area L1-L2 redistribution

Hello, I'm trying to setup the following topology using IS-IS: R5 (49.0003) / \ / \ R2 ----------------- R3 (49.0001) (49.0002) | | | | R1 R4 (49.0001) (49.0002) R1 and R4 are L1 routers, R2/R3 are L1-2 and R5 is L2 only. For a specific area everything seems to be working, but R2 and R3 do not send the routes that they learnt by R1 (resp. R4) to the other areas. Is this feature supported ? Hello, community, I went through the FRR docs, and I see the VTYSH session touching upon this topic in the context of the CLI shell. It also takes about using domain sockets to communicate with each domain. What is the recommended way to configure FRR programmatically? Thank you in advance for pointing me in the right direction! Not really, no. This was simple enough and I prefer to keep as close to netplan as possible as I suspect macvlan will eventually be supported. I could be swayed with the right argument, I suppose... VRRP setup with netplan on Ubuntu 20.04

Hello, I'm looking to set up VRRP via frr 7.3.1 as per http://docs.frrouting.org/en/latest/vrrp.html I'm using Ubuntu 20.04 which uses Netplan to configure interfaces. Can the macvlan devices be defined in the netplan config file or do I need to run a separate config/set of command to create the devices I need? Any help would be much appreciated. Oliver
