DockerHub FRR images cleanup warning

Hi operators, For those of you who use our Docker images (https://hub.docker.com/r/frrouting/frr) you've probably noticed we have a bunch of messy tags on that repo. I'm planning on cleaning this up in a little while to delete unnecessary / unintentional tags. Tags corresponding to releases are named vX.Y.Z. So for example, the image with 7.5.1 is "frrouting/frr:v7.5.1". These won't be going anywhere. Neither will the "latest" tag - this tag is an automatic build off of our Git tree. (This also means you shouldn't be relying on it and should always be specifying a release tag, by the way). I'm going to delete the rest of the tags as they don't correspond to anything in particular. Specifically, I plan on deleting the following tags: frr-7.5.1 multiarch frr-7.3 base_7.3 I'm planning on deleting these tomorrow at 5pm EST. I see that frr-7.3 and frr-7.5.1 have been pulled recently. If you're pulling these tags please use tags v7.3.1 and v7.5.1 instead. Quentin

YANG error

Hello, On FRR 7.5.1, trying to define a multihop bfd peer, I get the following error : minimum-ttl 240 % Failed to edit configuration. YANG error(s): Schema node not found. YANG path: /frr-bfdd:bfdd/bfd/sessions/single-hop[dest-addr='80.74.78.202'][interface=''][vrf='default']/minimum-ttl Does this mean the minimum-ttl command is not defined at all or just not defined in vtysh ? (in that case the system not being on production yet, I can stop frr and edit frr.conf) Thanks.

Filtering kernel routes import

Hi, i'm trying to filter a kernel default route from beeing imported into frr/zebra. I tried with a prefix-list/route-map bound to ip procotol kernel# but it seems it get only used on export routes to the kernel, not import routes from the kernel. BFD in a VRF not listening for port 3784/4784

Hi, I'm running frr 7.5.1 and trying to configure BFD for an interface in a VRF. BFD counters don't show any "Control packet input" packets, and I think this is because FRR needs to listen on port 3784 inside the VRF, it's non-VRF socket won't receive any packets from the VRF. I manually tested this idea with "netcat -ul 3784", and I was only able to receive BFD packets if I create the netcat listening socket within the VRF (e.g. "ip vrf exec myvrf netcat -ul 3784"). BFDD does create a socket in the VRF, but it's for a high port not for 3784/4784. I'm running on RHEL8 / kernel 4.18.0-240.15.1.el8_3.x86_64 and using FRR from rpm.frrouting.org/repo/el8. Is there some config I'm missing, or should I file this as a bug? Hi all I am trying Yakov blog below to test L3VPN using FRR7.5 and the last PE is not capable to de-encapsulate the labelled traffic and send it to the CE. BGP l2vpn evpn : received routes discarded

Hello, I have a lab with frr 7.1 and a bgp l2vpn setting which works fine. I try to install it in production on frr 7.5.1, and it does not work and I cannot see why. It seems the received routes are refused by the destination (both sode have a similar configuration. Hi All, Does FRR have Authentication support for OSPFv3(RFC 4552)? I see a forked repo(https://github.com/opensourcerouting/frr/commits/ospfv3-ipsec) where the code is committed to support the RFC 4552 but i wonder why it's not merged to the main branch yet.
