Ubuntu 20.04 package?

Hello, I'm in need of a package for Ubuntu 20.04. I'm building and will soon be releasing a router VM on this platform for internal use but we have at least 50 of these that will need to be deployed soon. More after that. Is there any chance a package can be released for 20.04 in the next week or so? Regards, Oliver

Hi, all. I am currently reading the source code of ospf6d. I found it hard to understand the link state data base (LSDB) part. After some digging, I make some conclusions as follows. Could anyone tell me whether my understanding is right or not? The lib/table.c implements some kind of Trie. I guess it is Patricia Trie, am I right? I make some search about Trie and found that LSDB use some parameters of link state advertisement (LSA) as the key to store each LSA into the Trie. The key is constituted by 2 byte type + 4 byte adv_router and 4 byte link state ID and totally 80 bit. (ospf6_lsdb_add() in ospf6_lsdb.c) The key is stored in a prefix_ipv6 structure. In summary, the LSDBuses route table in lib/table.c to store the LSA and also borrow the prefix_ipv6 structure to store the key. The lib/table.c not only stores the route for a route table, but also stores LSA for an LSDB. Am I right? ps. I don't think BFD protocol integration has changed much (the `lib/bfd.h` part), if we are only talking about integration. Since 5.0 I can think of four big changes: - Added support for Control Plane Independent bit (by Philippe Guibert from 6Wind) - Added VRF support: allow a instance to create session in multiple VRFs (also from Phillipe) - Some daemons have BFD integration command using northbound (e.g. YANG models) - (not commited yet) a separated function to replace the old zebra talking function (see PR https://github.com/FRRouting/frr/pull/6437 ), the old one should still works ( see bfd_peer_sendmsg ) When you fast-forward to `master` you'll probably only need to adjust function call to include extra parameters (or change for the new function). The BFD daemon code itself otherwise has gone through heavy changes, but protocol integration has seen very little change since we keep compatibility with ptm-bfd (Cumulus External daemon). It will only be a problem if you want to modify BFD daemon code. I think the biggest challenge of implementing eigrp in FRR 5.0 is the lack of northbound support. Unfortunately, this development practice of creating whole features in private and then publishing them all at once has, time and again, proved very difficult to support for a collaborative free software project that moves as fast as we do :(.
